A second after the results are declared

A second after the results are declared

As I've explained earlier, the moment when the text  “Result Aa Gaya"(The results have been declared) pops up the world pauses for the while...
Finding the PDF where the results are declared, carefully entering your name till the drive shows your name,
Everything around you seems to play in slow motion!
Then comes the climax when we check if we have cleared all the subjects  successfully.
If yes, it's a good end for the movie
If not, we may have flunked a subject or two.
Sad end...
On a bad day, you may flunk more that two.
The end gets even worse like in the movie Titanic!

No matter how confident you feel after the tests, there's always a kind of anxiety that haunts you when checking the results.
The reason of anxiety may vary person to person.
Some may be wishing to top the class and they're confident enough to check the results with eagerness.
Some may be doubtful about passing in all the subjects, for them the night before the result declaration is a nightmare.
I've been there numerous times.

It has been observed that the marks declared are sometimes inaccurate.
In that case, you can apply for reevaluation.
Chances are, you will get your marks increased.
It's like challenging the decision of the on field umpire and asking the third umpire for a review.
I think of life as a game.
No matter how good you perform in the practice match, the presence of mind and the adaptability matters a lot.
And the things don't always work out the way we want them to!
So keep calm and apply for reevaluation if you're sure...

The first thing that I experienced while checking my results was my increased heartbeat, some adrenaline through my veins. (even though I don't know how we can feel something rushing through our veins!)
I couldn't hear anything around me.
I felt like it was the noise cancellation effect of the most expensive headphone.
I'm a lethargic person so everytime I'm naturally half stoned.
But as soon as I started scrolling the PDF, my vision resolution maximised, the whole screen seemed like a 4k display.
I think that's adrenaline.

The moment my results were on my mobile screen, I started acting as if I'm casually checking my phone.
I didn't wanted my Mom and Dad to panic!
Alright, let's be honest...I was shit scared myself!
I didn't wanted someone to make me more nervous...
I checked the results... Luckily I passed all the subjects.
And then I told my parents about the results.

My parents were happy and guilty as well.
They were guilty cause they though the results have been declared way before the day and I was hiding the fact...
They possibly must have thought that I've flunked...
The way I behave at home, sleeping, playing computer games, listening loud music, anyone of you might look at me as a punk.

The results make people happy and sad.
Whatever happens, remember guys!
Do not let a piece of paper decide your worth.
However the results are, own it!
If you have not performed well,
Well played player... Wait for the next match!
If you have performed well, Congratulations!

A second before the exam is more important than a second after the results.
That's what life is all about...
Peace of mind, it may not help you to pass all the subjects.
But, it will surely help you believe in yourself.

A second after the exam may be different for different people.
I've shared my experience of a second after the result.
Again I have to go through the 3 month term, again the same schedule.
Time passes so fast. Period.
But only till the results are declared!

Fake influencers: The agents of manufactured reality

Fake influencers: The agents of manufactured reality How many public figures do you follow on various social media platforms? It’s great to be up-to-date with what’s going on in their life, isn’t it? Maybe you’re a big fan of his/her work or post feed. Their presence on social media ensures that they stay relevant to the culture and give their followers a chance to get a peek into their lives. A good amount of following can be used to create awareness, raise money for a cause and create a strong community. On the flip-side, it can also be used to push products/courses that benefit only the ones who sell them, and imbibe ideologies that are biased and serve no good to society. Many of such influencers sell us manufactured reality time and time again. It can severely affect our well-being as being the consumers of the same. There’s a lot of political tension in the world. People divide themselves based on countries, beliefs, races, genders, and ideologies. Most of them are ...
